How much are the fees?
For the 2012-2014 training, the fees are as follows:
Terms 1-6 £1200 per term. Term 7 £450
When does it start?
Seminars begin in September 2012. Each term is 10 weeks of seminars + reading week.
How many days a week is it? What time do the seminars start?
Seminars take place on Monday and Thursday evenings and start on both evenings at 7pm.
How long does the course take?
There are 6 teaching terms (from September 2012 – July 2014. Weekly group supervision starts in January 2013. Trainees remain until all their client work has been completed. This will vary from individual to individual.
When will I start seeing clients?
Trainees start seeing clients, with the agreement of their supervisor.
Can I transfer from my current course to the Highgate Training?
The Highgate Training is not divided into “years”. The group of trainees go through the whole course together. It is therefore not possible for someone to join the Training half way through.
Should I have completed a Certificate in Counselling skills?
Yes - this is a requirement.
